Who We Are & What We Believe

We are an inter-generational and multi-cultural group of believers dedicated to proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ through deeply spiritual worship, study, and service. We are called to create a loving and caring community for all people, and work together for justice and peace in our world. We strive to be respectful of each individual's relationship with God. We welcome all of those searching for a place where real people, with real problems, seeking for genuine solutions and fellowship.

We are part of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (for more info on the A.M.E. Church, go to the Our Denomination Page) and our beliefs can be expressed in the Apostle's Creed:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only son our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. The third day he arose from the dead; he ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.
